The Blasted and The Everyday

These three wire sculptures represent domestic dwellings in the build environment. The central work references an ideal imagined by the architect Le Corbusier in his Cité Radieuse in Marseille in France. The other two sculptures are informed by news photography from the war in Ukraine, domestic dwellings blasted in the conflict occasionally people traverse a makeshift bridge or climb into the skeleton to view the state of their former homes.
