The use of layers is effective in showing the different elements that make up a scene (buildings, graffiti, rubbish/litter and the weeds that look like they are trying to reclaim the area).

The fourth drawing is my favourite. It is of an abandoned area near Amiens Street that I walk by everyday. It is used by people to dump rubbish. The rubbish is entangled with the weeds which are ever increasing.
