Northern Ireland Protocol

Acrylic on board. Inspiration is the difficult challenge posed by the complex web of borders, roads, air and sea routes, connecting Northern Ireland with Ireland and Great Britain after Brexit. How can the Irish, British and EU frontiers interact in those circumstances? Among the painting techniques used were patterned repetition of a flag-shaped motif and the transfer of images, using an acetate sheet and a sponge.
